Our Story

Sometimes Healing Begins With a Word

Thirst No More was born during a season of uncertainty, faith, and believing God for healing.

Founder, Hugh Artis found himself navigating something many men experience but don't always talk about, an enlarged prostate.

There were appointments. There were tests. There were questions. And then came the waiting.

Waiting for answers.
Waiting for test results.
Waiting to understand what would happen next.
Waiting to begin treatment.

Through it all, Hugh knew one thing: he needed to take care of his body.

So he made it a priority to drink his water every day and stay hydrated.

But one day, he decided to do something different.

Instead of simply drinking water, Hugh began writing Scriptures of healing on his water bottles.

Every time he reached for his water, he would see God's Word.

Every sip became a reminder.

A reminder to pray.
A reminder to believe.
A reminder to keep his faith.
A reminder that God was with him in the waiting.

And then came the thought:

What if other people could do the same thing?

What if someone waiting on test results could look at their bottle and see a Word of encouragement?

What if a wife could purchase one for her husband?

What if a daughter could give one to her father?

What if a friend could send one to someone going through chemotherapy, surgery, treatment, a difficult diagnosis, emotional pain, or simply a season where they needed to be reminded that God had not forgotten them?

That's where Thirst No More began.
